Specialties include Old Prague Bastion (smoked pork roast, duck, sausages, dumplings) and Old Czech-style roasted duck. The menu offers grilled sirloin, fish, poultry, venison, salads, pasta, and homemade desserts. Meals can be delivered to guest rooms. The Bandol wine bar in the historic cellar serves French, Spanish, Italian, and Moravian wines until late night, alongside Pilsner Urquell beer.

Old Town Square Location

The hotel sits right in the heart of Prague's Old Town, adjacent to the Tyn Church. It faces a small square leading to historic Ungelt and is 25 meters from Old Town Square. The Staromestska metro stop is 400 meters away. Charles Bridge is a 10-minute walk through cobblestone streets. The area contains Romanesque and Gothic cellars conserved in surrounding buildings.

Laundry service completes within 24 hours. Baby cots are provided free of charge, with extra beds available for an additional cost.

UNESCO Protected Building

The hotel building is listed on the UNESCO protected buildings list. The challenging reconstruction preserved historic elements while adding modern amenities including air conditioning in all rooms during summer months, soundproof windows, and an elevator serving the first two floors. The entire property is non-smoking. The restaurant offers menus and wine lists in seven languages for international guests.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. Despite the party noise from the street due to the soccer championships and the late room servicing, I found the room to be spacious, nicely decorated, and very comfortable, offering a wonderful view. However, the location right by Old Prague Square was perfect for exploring, and the service, though friendly, had a minor hiccup regarding my room choice. The dining experience, while adequate, had its shortcomings. Overall, it was a decent stay with some room for improvement.

The hotel is located centrally, making it convenient for sightseeing, but access to rooms may be challenging for less mobile guests. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable stay under the roof with charming wooden beams. However, the dining experience may not meet high expectations. I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location was fantastic, right in the middle of Old Town Prague, making it a great home base for exploring the city. However, the room was a small musty space that smelled of wet dog, and the dining options were limited with an early breakfast schedule. The service, on the other hand, was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff ensuring a pleasant stay.

My stay at the hotel was filled with ups and downs. The rooms were a total disaster, with a small musty room that smelt of wet dog. However, I was lucky to have the only room with a kind of balcony, offering a lovely view of the old town street. The location was fantastic, just off Old Town Square, providing a buffer from the noise and easy walking distance to major sites in Prague. The service varied from unhelpful and unaccommodating staff to an amazing experience with Martina. The dining experience was basic, with a poor breakfast, but the location was great.

I had such a pleasant stay at this hotel! The rooms were cosy and clean, with everything we needed for our short stay. The charming atmosphere made it all the more inviting, especially with the huge bath for a relaxing soak. The food was good, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. However, the small musty room that smelt of wet dog and the tiny bar next to reception were a letdown.
